The popular cryptocurrency project Floki officially launched its debit card, allowing users to make payments with cryptocurrency instantly using cryptocurrency to pay for any good service that accepts Visa or Mastercard. As part of Floki’s ongoing expansion into the global market, the announcement was made.
Able to be Card is now available in 31 European countries, including Austria, France, Germany, Italy, Liechtenstein, and Spain. The Floki Debit Card is now available. Initially, the company is launching the physical debit card in these regions, and later, it will launch it in other countries. Furthermore, virtual gift cards are live anywhere in the globe to help give users easier access to their crypto funds on a global scale. But the cards will not be offered in jurisdictions within the U.S. Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) sanctions.
Floki Card Features Zero Fees and Multi-Chain Support
Other major features of the new card include zero transaction fees, zero exchange rate fees, and broad multi-chain support, available across eight blockchain networks at launch. Users will be able to load the card with the Floki token and major cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana as well as stable coins such as Tether (USDT) and USD Coin (USDC).
Users will pay €32 in one-time fees for the physical card and have to pay additional shipping fees. The fee for top-ups is 2%, and the virtual card is available for €10.
A part of the more extensive project mission of expanding its ecosystem is the planned launching of staking services and other products; the existence of staking is already being indicated through the sale of the JOIN token. In March this year, the team first unveiled the idea of the board and future developments as a part of their strategy to become a major player in the cryptocurrency world.
Meanwhile, Floki’s metaverse blockchain game, Valhalla, has been pushed back until the first quarter of 2025, but the metaverse blockchain game explained the delay was to undergo additional security audits to safeguard the users involved.
